Urgent requirement: falsework carpenter (Illinois)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in Douglas County, Illinois. You will work at a reinforced concrete building site. The role involves watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters. What we are looking for: • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
