Immediate opening: gantry crane operator (Iowa)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Union County, Iowa. Day to day you will watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
