Immediate opening: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Lincoln County, North Carolina. What we are looking for: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage The role involves sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run.
