Refrigeration installation technician — Sussex County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a refrigeration installation technician in Sussex County, Virginia. You will be based at a busy refrigeration workshop. You should have: • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade The role involves: • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
