Wood machinist wanted in Buckinghamshire

Vacancy available: we are hiring a wood machinist in Buckinghamshire, England. The job is on a residential housebuilding project. Day to day you will measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles. Ideal candidate: • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers Pay around £3,200 per month, based on your experience.
