Immediate opening: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Muskegon County, Michigan. The job is at an auto components factory. Your main tasks: • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways You should have: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading 3+ years on the tools preferred. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
