Day-to-day duties: • Degrease and clean metal parts before coating • Record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness • Mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape • Inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches • Pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks What we are looking for: • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes Part-time with flexible hours.
