Industrial sewing operator wanted in White County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in White County, Tennessee. You will be based in a textile and apparel unit. You will match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet. Ideal candidate: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided.
