Requirements: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes On a typical shift you will work out the load weight and the lifting radius; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control.
