Vacancy available: finish carpenter (Illinois)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a finish carpenter in Rock Island County, Illinois. You should have: • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent Day to day you will glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours.
