Fabricator-welder wanted in Cloud County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Cloud County, Kansas. The job is at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Requirements: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Your main tasks: • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode Pay around $20 per hour, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
