We are recruiting: we are hiring a precision welder in Livingston Parish, Louisiana. What we are looking for: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Own basic hand tools and PPE On the job you will handle: • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) 4+ years on the tools preferred.
