Immediate opening: we are hiring a machine setter-operator in Jim Hogg County, Texas. You will be based at an injection moulding unit. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery On a typical shift you will run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine; clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet.
