Container truck driver • Colleton County, South Carolina

We are recruiting: we are hiring a container truck driver in Colleton County, South Carolina. Day-to-day duties: • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels Requirements: • Confident with manual handling and load securing • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
