Backhoe operator wanted in Loudon County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Loudon County, Tennessee. You will work at a road and highway construction project. The role involves: • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers Requirements: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
