Now hiring: we are hiring a groundworker in Washington County, Nebraska. You will work with a civil contractor. What we are looking for: • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites Day to day you will backfill and ram down soil around the foundations; cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days; load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate; fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean; carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
