GMAW welder — Effingham County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Effingham County, Georgia. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. You should have: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Your main tasks: • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $4,600 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
