Lawn care technician — Erie County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lawn care technician in Erie County, New York. The job is in a botanical garden. On a typical shift you will repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe; operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs. Requirements: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors 1+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $3,500 per month, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
