Great opportunity: steel erection rigger (Oklahoma)

Join our team: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Murray County, Oklahoma. You will be based at a power plant. You will secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; read lift plans and method statements before starting; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight. What we are looking for: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
