Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tyre technician in Levy County, Florida. You should have: • 1+ years' experience fitting and balancing tyres • Able to lift heavy car and truck tyres repeatedly Day-to-day duties: • Torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench • Demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine • Check tread depth with a depth gauge and spot uneven wear • Balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights • Inflate tyres to the manufacturer's recommended PSI, including nitrogen fills • Vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres Part-time with flexible hours.
