We are recruiting: we are hiring a flat roof installer in Appanoose County, Iowa. The job is at a busy roofing firm. Your main tasks: • Lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling • Set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing • Torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs • Erect and dismantle roof edge protection and scaffolding • Carry out leak inspections and patch repairs • Replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates Ideal candidate: • Confident working at height on ladders and scaffolds • Working-at-height or scaffold safety certificate Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
