Now hiring: we are hiring a sample machinist in Pearl River County, Mississippi. You will work on an export house sewing floor. Day to day you will meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish. Requirements: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory 2+ years on the tools preferred.
