Gas appliance installer — Custer County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas appliance installer in Custer County, Nebraska. What we are looking for: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders Day-to-day duties: • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply We offer $19 per hour plus benefits.
