Great opportunity: we are hiring a presser in Jerome County, Idaho. The job is in a garment export house. Day-to-day duties: • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots You should have: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Six days a week, one day off.
