On a typical shift you will mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper; sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting; bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint; apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun; apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour; apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels. Requirements: • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand • Able to read and match factory paint codes 5+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off.
