GTAW welder wanted in Kirklees

Join our team: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Kirklees, England. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety On the job you will handle: • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
