Now hiring: we are hiring an excavator operator in Blackford County, Indiana. You will work in a demolition and site-clearance yard. Requirements: • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones The role involves grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter; backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs. Part-time with flexible hours. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
