Now hiring: we are hiring a building site helper in Cayuga County, New York. Requirements: • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day Day to day you will pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour; backfill and ram down soil around the foundations; bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns; erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up; cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Pay around $4,100 per month, based on your experience. Share your details and we will call you back.
