Requirements: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety The role involves set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose.
