Tile setter wanted in Rockbridge County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tile setter in Rockbridge County, Virginia. You will work on a new-build housing development. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter The role involves: • Make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits • Fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims • Level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system • Match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls • Cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
