Offshore rigger wanted in Limestone County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Limestone County, Alabama. You will be based on an offshore oil and gas platform. The role involves: • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio Requirements: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
