What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings You will set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence.
