We are recruiting: we are hiring a kitchen cook in Ulster County, New York. You will be based in a catering banquet kitchen. Ideal candidate: • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen The role involves: • Check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in • Manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs We offer $4,900 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
