Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Calhoun County, Mississippi. You should have: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls Day-to-day duties: • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet Pay around $5,200 per month, based on your experience.
