Immediate opening: automotive paint technician (Alabama)

Join our team: we are hiring an automotive paint technician in Autauga County, Alabama. You will be based at a busy body shop. You should have: • Able to read and match factory paint codes • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing Your main tasks: • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
