Concrete labourer • Palo Alto County, Iowa

Vacancy available: we are hiring a concrete labourer in Palo Alto County, Iowa. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. The role involves screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing. You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE Rotating shifts.
