Vacancy available: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Jos North, Plateau State. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Day to day you will clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. ₦245,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
