We are recruiting: we are hiring a concrete labourer in Jasper County, South Carolina. The job is with a civil contractor. Requirements: • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio Your main tasks: • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
