Service technician wanted in Kodiak Island Borough

Immediate opening: we are hiring a service technician in Kodiak Island Borough, Alaska. Requirements: • ITI / NVQ Level 3 qualification in motor vehicle maintenance • Good eyesight and methodical fault-finding • Comfortable working in inspection pits and on ramps On the job you will handle: • Replace exhaust systems and catalytic converters • Service and replace timing belts and chains • Carry out suspension and steering repairs • Replace shock absorbers, ball joints and track-rod ends • Replace clutch plates and gearbox components 1+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
