Excavator operator wanted in Appanoose County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an excavator operator in Appanoose County, Iowa. You will carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger; strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse; excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs; clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble. Requirements: • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
