Urgent requirement: we are hiring a dumper truck operator in City of Alexandria, Virginia. The job is in an open-cast mine. Requirements: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence Your main tasks: • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift Part-time with flexible hours.
