Great opportunity: lift maintenance fitter (Georgia)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Richmond County, Georgia. You will work on a high-rise construction site. On the job you will handle: • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays You should have: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
