Join our team: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Houston County, Alabama. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Day to day you will feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush. Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to pass a weld test on the spot Full-time with occasional weekends. We offer $3,400 per month plus benefits.
