Now hiring: industrial electrician (Iowa)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an industrial electrician in Worth County, Iowa. You will be based in a factory maintenance department. Day to day you will run conduit, lay PVC trunking and clip cable; check earth continuity and earth pit resistance; carry out preventive maintenance on switchgear and busbars; fault-find on motor starters and star-delta panels; read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams; size and route cabling to suit the load current and voltage drop. Ideal candidate: • Valid wireman/electrical licence as required by the state • ITI in electrical trade or wireman certificate • Normal colour vision for cable identification Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
