Join our team: offshore rigger (Florida)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Santa Rosa County, Florida. On the job you will handle: • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio What we are looking for: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. We offer $2,600 per month plus benefits. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
