Vertical transportation technician wanted in Dooly County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Dooly County, Georgia. The job is in a machine room on the rooftop. On a typical shift you will service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate Part-time with flexible hours.
