Rebar installer wanted in Christian County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rebar installer in Christian County, Missouri. You will be based on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. Ideal candidate: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules On a typical shift you will lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
