Vacancy available: we are hiring a cabinet maker in North Ayrshire, Scotland. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent You will cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
