Core maker wanted in Plymouth

Vacancy available: we are hiring a core maker in Plymouth, England. Your main tasks: • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture What we are looking for: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings 1+ years on the tools preferred.
