Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Sibley County, Minnesota. The job is on residential and apartment building sites. Your main tasks: • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation Requirements: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious Overtime paid at a premium rate.
